The Ronggeng Beken dance is a traditional dance art of multicultural communities in Bekasi City. This research aims to analyze the cultural identity of the Ronggeng Beken Dance in a multicultural society from a performance studies perspective. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and document study. The results of the research explain that the Ronggeng Beken Dance, as a traditional dance art of multicultural society in Bekasi City, is a representation of Bekasi society which reflects the ethnic and cultural diversity in Bekasi City. Apart from that, mass performances of the Ronggeng Beken Dance, when analyzed from a performance studies perspective, produce a cultural identity for the city of Bekasi. Therefore, as a cultural identity, the preservation of the Bekasi Ronggeng Dance should continue to be carried out by the people of Bekasi City, one of which is by utilizing the role of education, both informal and formal education.

Diantara beberapa jenis membaca, membaca pemahaman dianggap yang paling kompleks karena melibatkan pengetahuan dan juga pengalaman yang telah dimiliki oleh pembaca serta dihubungkan dengan isi bacaan. Di tingkat sekolah dasar, kemampuan ini belum mendapat perhatian yang maksimal terutama dari guru. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut adalah dengan mengembangkan bahan bacaan yang relevan dengan kehidupan mereka yang dalam hal ini di basiskan pada kearifan lokal. Dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, proses pembelajaran disinyalir akan lebih efektif sehingga berdampak terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar membaca yang dikembangkan yakni bahan ajar membaca berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini sendiri menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik penyebaran angket. Angket sendiri terdiri dari beberapa pernyataan yang sederhana dan didistribusikan kepada siswa kelas 5B di SDN Cigugur Kabupaten Kuningan. Adapun angket tersebut meliputi pertanyaan terkait display atau tampilan, konten dan juga kebermanfaatan yang dirasakan. Berdasarkan hasil dari angket yang telah didistribusikan, respon yang ditunjukan oleh siswa terhadap bahan ajar membaca berbasis kearifan lokal yang disusun berada dalam level baik. Hal ini terlihat dari skor rata-rata yang lebih dari 70 % yang terdapat dalam tiga aspek yakni tampilan, konten materi dan juga manfaat yang dirasakan.

Objective: This study aims to identify the potential of traditional cultural arts and their interaction with sustainable tourism in the UNESCO Geopark Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark through the Parahyangan Cultural Panglayungan Cibenda Village, Ciemas District, Sukabumi Regency. Theoretical framework: The research is centered on exploring how tradition and sustainability can be integrated into the development of tourism destinations, particularly in the Ciletuh Pelabuhanratu Geopark, utilizing the concepts of Sustainable Tourism Development and Traditional Values in Tourism. Method: Through research with a qualitative approach based on the Huberman and Miles model which aims to obtain valid and reliable results, using data triangulation in the form of crosscheck of sources. Results and conclusion: Furthermore, it was obtained that traditional cultural arts have an interrelation and interaction with sustainable tourism, namely the positive impact on traditional cultural arts activities with environmental and environmental sustainability, economy, and social life of the community. Originality/value: The development of geoparks as sustainable tourism destinations is becoming a priority considering the nature and characteristics of these destinations that emphasize attention to a number of aspects such as economy, environment and preservation (including culture), as well as the empowerment of communities around the destination. This is in line with the location of the geopark which is always in a rural area rich in natural tourism and local culture. However, research on art, culture and tourism, it seems that more specific and specialized research on art, culture, and tourism is still not widely done.
