Targeting TRPV1 activity via high‐dose capsaicin in patients with sickle cell disease

Abstract: Evidence suggests neuropathic pain (NP) develops over time in sickle cell disease (SCD), contributing to a complex, difficult-to-treat phenotype, with management based on scant evidence.
