Targeting the TCA cycle can ameliorate widespread axonal energy deficiency in neuroinflammatory lesions

Abstract: Inflammation in the central nervous system (CNS) can impair the function of neuronal mitochondria and contributes to axon degeneration in the common neuroinflammatory disease multiple sclerosis (MS).
