Tarantulas of Australia: phylogenetics and venomics

Abstract: Theraphosid spiders (tarantulas) are venomous arthropods found in most tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Most Australian tarantula species were described more than 100 years ago and there have been no taxonomic revisions.
