Abstract: Distributed optical fiber sensing (DOFS) systems are valuable tools for monitoring various physical parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, strain). DOFS systems, however, remain a challenge for achieving high spatial resolution in narrow spaces due to the bulky external demodulation techniques.
