Tanycytes are degraded in Alzheimer’s Disease, disrupting the brain-to-blood efflux of Tau

Abstract: The accumulation of pathological Tau in the brain and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and its eventual increase in the blood are hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
