Tangential flow filtration ofBordetella pertussis submerse cultures

Abstract: A procedure is reported for the large scale separation of Bordetella pertussis microorganisms from liquid culture media by tangential flow filtration (cross flow filtration) using anisotropic membranes with a cut-off limit of 1 x 10(6) daltons, and microporous membranes with a pore size of 0.22 micrometer.
