Takayasu arteritis in a young male patient: a case report and review of literature

Abstract: Takayasu arteritis is a systemic inflammatory disorder that causes harm to the large and medium arteries and their branches. It is primarily prevalent in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with the incidence rate in Asia being reported to be 100 times higher than in Europe and North America. Females in their second or third decades of life are most commonly affected by this condition.
