Tailorable Topologies for Selectively Controlling Crystals of Expanded Prussian Blue Analogues

Abstract: Chemical manipulations of Prussian blues and Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) beyond first-row transition-metal cations have remained quite preliminary to this day. The presented report demonstrates the feasibility of using different types of cations, including general transition-metal ions, p region elements in the periodic table, lanthanide elements, and overlooked cations such as Al3+ and Mo3+ to build unique PBAs. A systematic study of the different types of PBAs is provided in terms of physical and chemical… Show more

“…The saturation limit reached a value of 5 M. The acceptable catalytic activity, simplied procurement, and stability of the Cu 2 O/PPy composite indicate that it is a very good electrocatalyst for the oxidation of ethanol. [128][129][130][131]…”

“…Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a fascinating class of hybrid microporous materials with wellorganized structures, which have opened up new avenues for multifarious applications. 16 In the field of composite nanoarchitecture, MOF/graphene oxide (GO) has emerged as a new class of catalytic composite materials due to their specific electrical and surface properties, excellent conductivity, and hydrophilic character; 17−19 composite material developed by Bandosz's group 20,21 has been found to be more stable and efficient. In addition, Cai and co-workers demonstrated a novel Europium-based MOFs [MIL-LIC-1(Eu)]/GO composite with application in aerobic oxidation of alcohols.…”

“… 2 While different analytical methods including spectrophotometry, spectrofluorometer, chemiluminescence, capillary zone electrophoresis, and chromatography 3–7 have been extended for this purpose, electrochemical techniques have been considered as sensitive and cost-efficient method that can be accurately and rapidly used for pharmaceutical tests. 8–10 Compared to other analytical techniques, the electrochemical determination has been indicated to be very sensitive with less interference from non-electroactive compounds for the investigations of a wide range of pharmaceutical factors. 2,11,12 …”
