Abstract: • Background: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare, chronic inflammatory disease of the liver. Treatment goal is reaching complete biochemical response (CR), defined as normalization of aspartate and alanine aminotransferases and immunoglobulin gamma.
