“…The dashed lines represent the weighted least-square fit. Since our main experimental result is the fractional production rate of the high spin state, the quadrupole moments of the isotopes of Cd correspond to the values of the excited state [78], while for the isotopes of In the quadrupole moments correspond to that of the ground states [79]. Correlations of the angular momentum of the fission fragments with the quadrupole moments of the products have also been observed by Wilhelmy et al [2].…”

“…The nuclide 129 Ba has a 7/2 + [404] band with known μ and Q s , and 131 Ba has a 9/2 − [514] band also with known μ and Q s [4,5]. There is therefore the same level of completeness for these one-quasiparticle bands as there is for the twoquasiparticle, K π = 8 − band of 130 Ba.…”

“…The magnetic dipole moment of μ = −0.043 (28) μ N and the spectroscopic quadrupole moment of Q s = +2.77(30) eb of the K π = 8 − isomer have been measured by Moore et al [8]. However, Stone [4] renormalized the original quadrupole moment to obtain Q s = +2.40(6) eb, which corresponds to an intrinsic quadrupole moment of Q 0 = +3.42(9) eb, assuming K = 8. Adopting this value, and μ = −0.043 (28) μ N , the measured moments enable g K and g R to be extracted separately, which is an unusual circumstance, and is unique among the isomers of the N = 74 isotones.…”

“…However, no lifetime data are available. Further, the quadrupole moment of the first 2 + state is large [22], which challenges the notion that this nucleus is close to being spherical. From the multiple spec-troscopic studies of the neighboring nucleus, 152 Sm (see [23] and references therein), that support nearly degenerate shape coexistence with strong mixing [24], it is evidently desirable to also study 150 Sm by multiple spectroscopic techniques.…”
