“…Toutefois, malgré ces efforts, la France continue à accuser un certain retard par rapport à d'autres pays en ce qui concerne notamment la détection et la prise en charge précoce. Face au développement de nombreux programmes à l'étranger (Australie, Nouvelle Zélande, Canada, Royaume Uni, Suisse, Japon, Italie pour ne citer que les plus connus) qui insistent sur l'intervention précoce dans les premiers stades de la maladie (McGorry et al, 2002), en France on ne compterait que quelques services ou programmes (Krebs, 2004 ;Meunier-Cussac et al, 2018) dédiés à l›intervention précoce dans les troubles schizophréniques émergents. Ce retard s'explique tout d'abord par la fragmentation du système de santé et du système médico-social qui, en l'absence d'un cadre stratégique opérationnel d'intervention précoce pour les jeunes souffrant de schizophrénie, contribue à créer des comportements de concurrence -plutôt que de coopération-vis-à-vis d'allocations de ressources limitées.…”
