Abstract

Because of spacial limitations, we shall only concern on some of most important topics, but we hope that we can provide an in-depth view into this actually florishing area of research. Free radical research experienced some upsand-downs in the past decades, however it reached always higher levels. Nowadays even molecular biologists cannot neglect free radical research. Although the medicine was substantially benefited from these researches, we may experience some hiatus on the clinical level because of the missing breakthough by examination of redox status of the patients. The immediate cause for this is that many different parameters are needed to be exactly observed at the same time, which needs a large amount of financial support. The secondhand cause is that the discussion of free radical research results and its usefulness is only a part of the facultative courses.
