Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate clinical outcomes and costs of inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) and systemic corticosteroid combination therapy versus systemic corticosteroid monotherapy for treatment of acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).
