Risk-sensitive urban development is an innovative planning approach that can transform the way cities are built in order to face the uncertainties that arise from climate-induced disaster risks. However, the potential to initiate such a transformative approach has not materialized because of the many underlying issues that need to be understood properly. Therefore, this study conducted a systematic review to gather empirical evidence on the issues and challenges in implementing risk-sensitive urban development. The study identified forty-six issues and challenges under seven key themes that need addressing in order to facilitate the desirable transition: trade-offs, governance, fragmentation and silos, capacity, design and development, data, and funding. The issues and challenges that exist under trade-offs for negotiating solutions for risk-sensitive urban development and the governance of multiple stakeholders were identified as the top two areas that need attention in facilitating the desirable transition. This study also revealed that important information, such as scientific information, hazard and risk information, temporal and spatial information, and critical local details are not being produced and shared between stakeholders in decision-making. A profound participatory process that involves all the stakeholders in the decision-making process was identified as the pathway to ensure equitable outcomes in risk-sensitive urban development.

Aims To determine the challenges perceived by final‐year nursing students in the clinical learning environment. Design Data‐based convergent mixed‐method systematic review. Methods Three electronic databases (Web of Science, Scopus, and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) will be used in the identification stage. The first search will use the search string for each database to identify relevant studies. The articles retrieved will be screened by year of publication, article type and language. Abstracts and full‐text of selected studies will be screened for eligibility independently by a minimum of two reviewers. The reference lists will be manually screened to identify additional publications. The quality assessment will be conducted by two reviewers using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tools. Quantitative and mixed‐method studies will be transformed into qualitative. A thematic approach will be used to synthesize and report the data. Ethics approval and funding have been approved in April 2020. Discussion This study will synthesize the types of challenges perceived by final‐year undergraduate nursing students in different clinical learning environments across the country. Impact The proposed study findings will help nursing education stakeholders and faculty provide assistance to final‐year nursing students in their transition year to become registered nurses.

Since most research on Islam and organisational performance focus on specific area such as finance, human capital, banking services, waqaf, and entrepreneurship, this paper will attempt to study the overall relationship between Islam and organizational performance using systematic literature review without restricting its scope only on specific area of study, business or industry. This study is guided by adapting RepOrting standards for Systematic Evidence Syntheses (ROSES) review protocol. Based on thematic analysis, this study has identified five main themes -financial affairs, sharia-compliant organizations, Islamic human capital, social and network affairs, and environmental issues and tourism, and two subthemes -organizational roles, and Islamic banking. This research made several key contributions to the field's practical applications and body of knowledge, namely the role of Islam in organizational performance, the identification of the shortcomings of the implementation of sharia-compliant products and services. Future research should look further on how to improve the shortcomings that have been identified in this study, which include the products and services offered by Islamic financial institutions, and how these institutions can improve their services further to benefit their stakeholders even more.
