Systematic investigation of a NbTi-Bi2223 hybrid low-resistive joint

Abstract: In this study, a NbTi-Bi2223 hybrid low-resistive joint fabricated by the superconducting solder method was systematically investigated. The joint is a necessary component of gigahertz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) with Bi2223 as the insert coil. The joint resistance and current capability under different applied magnetic fields were measured, and the resistance exhibited a near-linear relationship with the applied field.
