Abstract:Mucosal‐associated invariant T‐cells (MAIT) are unconventional T‐cells with cytotoxic and pro‐inflammatory properties. Previous research has reported contradictory findings on their role in cancerogenesis with data being even scarcer in haematological malignancies.
