Abstract:In order to reveal the relationship between optimizing a certain function of system and optimizing the relevant functions provided necessarily by its subsystems to realize the function of system, this paper studies the systematic mechanism of the function of system not being equal to the sum of the relevant functions of its subsystems based on function additivity, and obtains some laws about optimizing system and its subsystems on condition that these functions are additive. In addition, it lays a foundation f… Show more
“…In the paper System Optimizing Based on Function Additivity [1] which obtained some laws about optimizing the system and its subsystems on condition that their functions are addible. Follow after, with the purpose of further studies on system, We divide system into four types: independent and absolutely additive system, co-dependent and absolutely additive system, independent and incompletable additive system, co-dependent and absolutely non-additive system, based on the additivity and non-additiveity of system function, and the co-dependence and independence between the system and subsystems.…”
Based on the additives of system function, and the co-dependence between the system and subsystems. We analyzed the optimization of co-dependent and absolutely additive system followed after the paper The optimization of independent and absolutely additive system. We make further efforts to analyze the performance function of absolutely additive system, the variation of co-dependent and absolutely additive system performance function, and building the optimization model of co-dependent and absolutely additive system based on the performance function, and giving an example.

“…Wang et al [2] solved job shop production scheduling problem by using hopfield artificial neural network. Huang and Xiong [3] proposed an advanced ant colony algorithm to optimize the JSP, which adopted a new state transition rule to improve the performance of the algorithm.…”
Job shop scheduling problem (JSP) plays a significant role for production management and combinatorial optimization. An improved artificial bee colony (IABC) algorithm with mutation operation is presented to solve JSP in this paper. The results for some benchmark problems reveal that IABC is effective and efficient compared to those of other approaches. IABC seems to be a powerful tool for optimizing job shop scheduling problem.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
