“…This corporate requirements taxonomy was developed by an exhaustive literature search which uncovered sources such as: Stauffer (1988), which develops a set of lifecycle design considerations including schedule, manufacture, transportation, performance, maintenance and disposal; Hauge and Stauffer (1993) and Keys (1990), which develops 'lifecycle customer requirements' that included function, features, materials, readiness, service, retirement; and which discuss the issues of the lifecycle including product/market research, manufacturing process, qualification (testing), reliability issues and customer service/maintainability/supportability and also talk of product migration through the organization functions of technical research, marketing, design, reliability, manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, distribution, service and support. Other references were used including Dieter (1983), Gershenson and Ishii (1991), Kusiak (1993), Ullman (1989), Fiksel (1991, Anderson (1990) and Vonderembse and White (1991).…”
