System Level Real-Time Simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing of MMCs

Abstract: In this paper we present an approach for real-time simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing of Modular Multilevel Converters (MMCs) that rely on switching models while supporting system level analysis.
