It reflects the cultural, social, economic and historical factors that have been shaped in this region over time. Cultural identity is associated with unique traits and characteristics that define the culture and people of a region. In regional architecture, cultural identity can be expressed through the use of certain building materials and techniques, decorative elements, building shapes and proportions.
