Synthetic study of nanocrystalline complex oxides LaFe1–yCoyO3

Abstract: A precursor to LaFe, -, Co, O, has been prepared using the polyethylene glycol-gel method. After calcination of the precursor at 450-550 "C for 1-2 h, nanocrystalline complex oxides LaFe,-,Co,O, (y=O.5, 0.6, 0.8) with the perovskite structure and grain diameter Show more

“…Li et al. [ 188 ] used 33 wt% hydrochloric acid (aqueous HCl) as an additive to fabricate moisture tolerant PSCs in ambient conditions with a RH of up to 60%. The one‐step and two‐step spin‐coating methods were used, and both achieved a PCE exceeding 14%.…”

“…The mixture was ground for 30 min, and the byproduct salt was dissolved with distilled water in an ultrasonic bath. The dissolved-salt mixture was centrifuged for 10 min (8000 rotations per minute) and then air-dried at 85°C for 24 h. The resulting composite hydroxide nanoparticles (LaCo(OH) 5 , designated LCN-RM) were calcined at 600°C in air for 2 h; perovskite-type composite oxide LaCoO 3 nanocrystals (2.26 g, designated LCN-600) were obtained, with yield of 92%. Three parts of the LCN-RM (ϳ0.25 g) were removed and further calcined in air for 2 h at 200°, 400°, and 800°C, respectively, to give nanoparticles of different sizes (designated LCN-200, LCN-400, and LCN-800, respectively).…”

“…Under our method, the perovskite-type LaCoO 3 composite oxide appeared in the same temperature range as in the sol-gel process. 5 These results may also be attributable to the efficient mixing of the reactants. Because HNO 3 (35%) is added to inhibit hydrolysis of the La 3ϩ and Co 2ϩ ions, an LC can be produced before the solid-state reaction of the ions with MOH (M ϭ K, Na).…”

“…The Lao.7Sr0.3Fe03-8 precursor was prepared by the PEG method [9]. The sample A1 was obtained after sintering the precursor at 500 "C in air for 1 h. After annealing A1 in the furnace in air at 1150 and 1250°C for 1 and 4 h, the samples A2 and A3 were obtained, respectively.…”
