Abstract:Hypercrosslinked polymers (HCPs) are widely used in ion exchange, water purification, and gas separation. However, HCP synthesis typically requires hazardous halogenated solvents e.g., dichloroethane, dichloromethane and chloroform which are toxic to human health and environment.
