Abstract:A new dicopper complex [Cu 2 (L)(N 3 ) 2 ](ClO 4 ) 2 ·4H 2 O (1) with imidazole-containing macrocyclic polyamine ligand was synthesized, and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, TGA, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and PXRD. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2 1 /c. The coordination geometry around Cu(II) atom is fivecoordinated distorted trigonal-bipyramid, and the imidazole-pendants, and the azide anions are located on the different sides of the macrocyclic ligand.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
