Synthesis, Structural Characterization, and Magnetic Properties of the Heteroleptic Dinuclear Nickel Selenite Complex [{Ni(TMEDA)SeO3}2]. -The structures of compounds (II) and (III) are determined by single crystal XRD. (II) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 2. The compound consists of a dinuclear species in which the two nickel atoms are bridged by two selenito anions. The three-dimensional connection is dominated by hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules and the oxygen atoms of the bridging groups. The two nickel ions exhibit antiferromagnetic coupling. The homoleptic compound (III) crystallizes in the trigonal space group P31c with Z = 2. -(DELFERRO*, M.; GRAIFF, C.; MARCHIO, L.; ELVIRI, L.; MAZZANI, M.; RICCO, M.; PREDIERI, G.; Eur. J. Inorg.
