“…The results have shown that the synthesised compound 41 exhibited good proliferative activity in vitro with proliferation index of 25 % as compared to the control 6-methyl uracil with proliferation index ranging between 0.00 � 0.07 % respectively. Berradj et al [46] synthesised three new mixed ligand complexes of the type 44 a-c i. e. cobalt(III)dimethylglyoximato complexes [Co(Hdmg) 2 (Ura)X] using dimethylglyoxime 42 as a primary ligand (bidentate) and uracil 43 as the secondary ligand (monodentate) (Scheme 12). The synthesised mixed complexes were then tested for its anti-microbial activity in vitro against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereu involved in human pathology and food spoilage.…”
