Synthesis, Spectral and Antioxidant Properties of Tin(II)-Rutin Complex

Abstract: Rutin is one of the most common flavonoids present in nature that has a wide range of biological properties. A Tin(II)-rutin complex was synthesized from the raw material rutin and SnCl 2 in an alkaline solution. The complex was characterized by UV-vis, IR, 1 H NMR, and 13 C NMR spectroscopy.
