Synthesis of Type-A Zeolite in Hydrothermal Condition with Stellerite

Abstract: Type-A zeolite was synthesized in hydrothermal condition with stellerite obtained from Guangxi. The influences of raw material modification, crystallization temperature, crystallization time and particles’size of stellerites were discussed on preparing zeolite molecular sieve. It is shown that A-type zeolite was synthesized in crystallization time of 6 hours, crystallization temperature of 90-100 °C according to certain proportion with stellerite modified by hydrochloric acid of 15%. The crystallinity of A-typ… Show more

“…When large radius positive ions are replaced by smaller radius, the effective space of channels are widened and adsorption centers are increased, leading the aluminum being got rid of the skeleton. [3][4] Stellerite skeleton can keep complete after aluminum being removed from the skeleton by using acid, accompany by the amplification of aperture and improvement of adsorption capacity, according to the different resistance against acid and alkali of stellerite. During preparation process, crystallization temperature and time are determined by certain amount of acidified stellerite.…”
