“…Ceria-based 3DOM catalysts have demonstrated improved diesel soot combustion activity with regards to disordered counterparts, and this improvement has been attributed to the enhanced solid-solid contact between the soot and catalyst particles [1][2][3][4][5]. The same argument has been appealed to explain, for instance, the high soot combustion activity of 3DOM cobalt-based perovskites [6].…”

“…To simplify the exhaust post-treatment system, it is of significance to achieve the simultaneous elimination of soot particles and NO x . 3DOM catalysts have been demonstrated to be effective on the soot catalytic combustion because the suitable pore size (>25 nm) are favorable for the transfer and diffusion of soot particles and the full usage of active sites of the catalysts. We developed a series of Fe, Cu, Mn, and Co doped Ce–Zr-based 3DOM catalysts for NH 3 –SCR reaction, which exhibited excellent LT activity . In recent years, increasing efforts have been made on the simultaneous removal of soot particulates and NO x from diesel engine exhausts.…”

“…We realize that the synthesized bimodal porous 6 100 % of toluene or xylene and 78 % of benzene could be removed at 250 o C and SV = 8,400 mL/(g h)). Jin et al[31] prepared 3DOM Al-Ce mixed oxide catalysts using the colloidal crystal templating method, and observed that the 3DOM-structued materials showed higher catalytic activity than the disordered macroporous counterpart for soot combustion. Herein, we report the preparation, characterization, and catalytic properties of xM/3DOM yCeO 2 −Al 2 O 3 (x = 0.27−0.81 wt%; y = 8.8−26.9 wt%; M = Au, Ag, Pd, Pt) for toluene oxidation.…”
