Synthesis of symmetric and asymmetric singly terminated elliptic ladder filters for multiplexing applications

Abstract: An extension of the Cauer ladder development for synthesizing singly terminated filters with symmetric and asymmetric responses is presented. Basically, a drivingpoint immittance including reactive constant elements is carried out in such a way that provides the transmission zeros.
