“…TiO 2 nanoparticles synthesized via in situ sol-gel method followed by Ag deposition via reduction method with dextrose as reductant and sodium dodecyl sulfate as stabilizer exhibited excellent reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol at room temperature suggesting the commercial exploitation of heterogeneous catalyst for the reduction of nitrocompounds [152].
