Synthesis of some oxygen-containing heterocycles from methyl 3-hydroxyphenylcarbamate

Abstract: SHORT COMMUNICATIONSIt is well known that phenols readily undergo condensations with various carbonyl compounds. Among these transformations, the most interesting are those leading to oxygen-containing heterocyclic compounds which exhibit significant biological activity.
