Synthesis of Sex Pheromones of the Citrus Leafminer (CLM) (Phyllocnistis citrella)

Abstract: A convergent and efficient total synthesis of sex Pheromones has been achieved. The synthesis exploits the Wittig reaction, hydrogenation and oxidation as key steps.
