Synthesis of Self-Stratifying Polyacrylate Latex Containing Silicon

Abstract: Self-stratifying polyacrylate latex containing silicon was synthesized via semi-continuous emulsion polymerization, using organic silicon and acrylate as raw materials. Transmission electron microscope(TEM) characterization indicated that the particles were form uniform analogous core-shell structure and dynamic light scattering(DLS) analysis possessed narrow size distributions.
