“…The bands of C-S vibrations in the thiophene ring were observed at 982, 845, and 693 cm -1 . [26][27][28][29] There is a minor peak at 660 cm -1 which is related to TiO 2 nano particles appears in the spectral peaks of PEDOT-TiO 2 -15 and PEDOT-TiO 2 -20 composites. Except for the broadening of the spectral region for PEDOT-TiO 2 nanocomposites at around 1115, 1325, 1510, and 3430 cm -1 , not much difference exists between the spectra of PEDOT and PEDOT-TiO 2 nanocomposites.…”

“…A known amount of (0.5 M) EDOT was then added to the solution, and the reaction mixture was stirred for approximately 30 min to form a homogenous mixture. A 0.75 M APS solution was slowly added dropwise to the above solution, and the mixture was stirred for about 72 h. [26][27][28] Afterwards, the product was filtered and washed with 20 mL portions of methanol and 3 mL of acetone to remove the unreacted monomers and oligomers. The PEDOT-TiO 2 nanoparticle composite powder was dried under vacuum at 60°C for 24 h to achieve constant weight.…”

“…Cyclic voltammetry (CV), Galvanostatic chargedischarge tests, cycle stability and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were performed on CHI660C electrochemical workstation. CV and Galvanostatic chargedischarge tests were done in the potential window ranging from 20.2 V to 0.8 V. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was recorded under the condition: AC voltage amplitude 5 mV, frequency ranging from 10 22 to 10 5 Hz, and open circuit potential. Figure 2 shows the FTIR spectra of pure PProDOT, PProDOT/SnO 2 nanocomposites, and nano-SnO 2 .…”

“…Efforts have been made to extend the light absorption of ZnO into the visible region and increase its photocatalytic activity using methods such as metal [9][10][11] and non-metal doping [12][13][14][15] , noble metal deposition 16,17 and forming composites with narrow semiconductors. The nanohybrid/con-ducting polymer composites have also been studied and have been of great interest over the past decade 18 . Many conductive polymers are efficient electron donors and good electron transporters upon visible-light excitation 19,20 and allow high mobility of charge carriers 21,22 .…”
