“…Multiwalled carbon nanotubes exhibit capacitive behavior due to their high surface area, which enables the production of electrical double-layers when in contact with an electrolyte solution. 35,36 This higher value of current density in the dark may occur due to the capacitive behavior of CNTs. 37,38 On illumination, the current density of Cu 2 WS 4 -CNT reaches 9.31 mA cm À2 and 35.03 mA cm À2 at 1.23 V and 1.80 V, respectively.…”

“…The peak shis when scan rate increases because the elevated scan rates provide less time for ions to intercalate and/ or perform redox reactions therefore, peaks slightly shi towards higher scan rate to successfully perform redox reactions. 20,21 For further understanding, GCD measurements were carried out to evaluate the samples for their charging and discharging behavior (Fig. 4a and b).…”

“…are used for supercapacitors as they store charges on the surface providing good life stability. [16][17][18][19][20][21][22] Conversely, transition metals-based phosphates, suldes, oxides etc. are adept in faradaically storing charges.…”

“…Thus, long-term charge and discharge processes attain better stability. [40][41][42][43] However, a single transition metal sulde has a higher optical band gap but lower electrical conductivity. [44][45][46][47] Rather than oxides of transition metals, their suldes are suitable substitutes.…”
