Synthesis of high quality alkyl naphthenic kerosene by reacting an oil refinery with a biomass refinery stream

Abstract: Alkylation of aromatics with 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in the presence of large pore acid zeolites followed by hydrodeoxygenation yields high quality kerosene.
