Abstract:Ag nanoflakes were synthesized by chemical reduction method using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a surfactant. The results of transmission electron microscope (TEM) analysis, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopic (UV-Vis) analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that the obtained Ag nanoflakes had size of ~50 – 60 nm, thickness of 16 nm, with flake shape reached 96 %. The particles crystallized in cubic structure of Ag. The Ag nanoflakes synthesized with pH = 4 were dispersed stably after 60 day… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
