Synthesis of Fluorine-Containing Alkyl 2-Cyano-3-oxocarboxylates.Reactions with Nucleophiles.-Fluorine containing alkyl 2-cyano-3-oxo-carboxylates (VI) are synthesized by the reaction of ethyl cyanoacetate (I) with fluorine-substituted carboxylic acid derivatives, e.g. (II), (IV), and (V). The isolation and purification is achieved via copper chelates (III). The reactions with phenylhydrazine (VII) and o-phenylenediamine (X) lead to the ammonium enolates (IX) and (XI) or to the acid-decomposed compounds (VIII) and (XII), dependent on the R-substituent or on the reaction conditions. -(KUZUEVA, O.
