Synthesis of Co/MoS2 by Laser Pyrolysis and its Catalyst Activity

Abstract: Molybdenum sulfides (MoS 2 )are efficient hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalysts widely used in crude oil desulfurization. This paper described the synthesis of MoS 2 and Co/MoS 2 nanomaterials by laser pyrolysis method. Here, we investigated two catalysts sample MoS 2 and Co/MoS 2 , which were active for deep hydrodesulfurization reaction.
