“…Among the lanthanide ions, the catalytic properties of cerium have received much attention due to the alteration of Ce oxidation state between Ce 3+ with 4 f 1 5 d 0 and Ce 4+ with 4 f 0 5 d 0 , which brings about excellent oxygen mobility .
