Synthesis of Ba2NaNb5O15 Powders and Thin Films Using MetalAlkoxides. -Ba2NaNb5O15(BNN) powders are prepared from a precursor solution obtained by controlled reaction of NaOEt, Nb(OEt)5, and Ba and consisting of an NaNb(OEt)6-Ba(Nb(OEt)6)2 mixture in EtOH. Unhydrolyzed BNN powder crystallizes into a low-temp. BNN phase after 1 h at 500 • C which transforms to the orthorhombic BNN tungsten bronze at 600 • C.
