Synthesis of AuPt/graphene quantum dots nanocomposites for determination of glucose by photoluminescence spectroscopy

Abstract: In this study, a novel material, AuPt/graphene quantum dot nanocomposites (AuPt/GQDs NCPs), that have unique optical properties were successfully synthesized.

“…The peaks are typical for C-H, C-O-C, and C = O in GQDs corresponding to 2844 cm − 1 , 1610 cm − 1 , 1198 cm − 1 , have moved to 2984 cm − 1 , 1636 cm − 1 , 1398 cm − 1 , respectively. Since the IR absorbance of Au and Pt nanocrystals ranges from 600 cm − 1 to 4000 cm − 1 , the strong interaction between GQDs and both Au and Pt nanocrystals can be considered as the cause of the changes in the FTIR spectra of AuPt/GQDs (Viet et al 2023). As a result, the FTIR results above reveal the presence of AuPt NCBs in GQDs and the successful synthesis of AuPt NCBs/GQDs.…”
