Abstract:As electrocatalysts, molecular catalysts with large aromatic systems (such as terpyridine, porphyrin, or phthalocyanine) have been widely applied in the CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR). However, these monomeric catalysts tend to aggregate due to strong π−π interactions, resulting in limited accessibility of the active site.
