“…The bond length of C-N (1.337 (2) Å) has been observed as shorter than the standard C-N single bond length (1.48 Å) but it is slightly longer than standard double bond length (1.28Å) 44 and C-O bond length observed in the range of 1.360(3)-1.423(3) Å for L1.…”

“…When the FT‐IR spectra of the free ligands were examined, it was observed that the azomethine stretch band (C=N) was 1617 cm −1 for the ligand (H 2 L) and 1584 cm −1 for the phen, respectively [37,45] . The IR spectra of Ni(II), Cu(II), and Pd(II) complexes showed a strong sharp band evident in the range 1577–1583 and 1608–1610 cm −1 , [46] which was attributed to stretching of azomethine (C=N) and phenanthroline (C=N) in the ligands. However, this peak in the complexes shifted to the lower (1–9 cm −1 ) wavenumbers, indicating the participation of azomethine nitrogen in coordination with the metal ion [47–49] .…”

“…Open Sci. 8: 210910 chemical compound is directly associated with the difference of E HOMO and E LUMO [51]. The ability to accept electron is the feature of LUMO orbital which is electronically empty or unoccupied orbital while the ability to donate electron is the feature of HOMO orbital which is filled with electrons.…”
