Abstract:A series of novel chromone derivatives of (N-(4-oxo-2-(trifluoromethyl)-4H-chromen-6-yl) benzamides) were synthesized by treating 7-amino-2-(trifluoromethyl)-4H-chromen-4-one with K2CO3 and/or NaH, suitable alkyl halides and acetonitrile and/or 1,4-dioxane.
