Synthesis, crystal structure and properties of novel isostructural two-dimensional lanthanide-based coordination polymers with 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid
“…Each La III ion is coordinated by nine oxygen atoms from six pydc 2– ligands in a distorted monocapped square antiprism geometry. The distances of La–O bonds range from 2.460(7) to 2.693(8) Å, similar to those in other La III carboxylate complexes 37–39. The O–La–O bond angles range from 49.3(3) to 148.3(2)°.…”
A 4d-4f heterometallic coordination polymer, [AgLa(pydc) 2 ]·3H 2 O (1) (H 2 pydc = pyridine-3,4-dicarboxylic acid), has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions, and further characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 features a three-dimensional (3D) framework containing one-dimensional (1D) channels occupied by free water molecules, which is constructed from

“…The strongest emission band was the "red" one at λ mах = 614 nm. The bands positions were close to those in the Eu 2 (L') 3 (DEF) 2 (EtOH) 2 ·2(DEF) photoluminescence spectrum (DEF = diethylformamide): λ mах = 590, 615, 650, and 695 nm [13].…”
Octafluorobiphenyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid (H 2 L) and its complexes with Tb(III) and Eu(III) [Ln 2 (H 2 O) 4 (L) 3 ·3H 2 O and Ln 2 (phen) 2 (L) 3 ·2H 2 O] have been prepared; their structure has been elucidated from IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis data. Thermal properties of the compounds have been studied. The complexes of Tb(III) and Eu(III) exhibit green and red photoluminescence, respectively.
“…Lots of works have been concentrated on designing and synthesizing lanthanide-MOFs on aromatic ligands [2]. The bridging carboxylate ligands, such as 1,3/1,4-benzenedicarboxylate [3,4] as well as modi ed 1,3/1,4-benzenedicarboxylate [5,6], have frequently being utilized to produce polymeric structures. In addition, the structural sophistication can be further enhanced through the use of ancillary co-ligands.…”
