Synthesis, characterization of metal complexes of dehydroacetic-1,8-naphthaleimine. Study their effect on the larval mortality of Parasarcophaga aegyptiaca salem

Abstract: Novel copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II), manganese(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II) complexes of Schiff base ligand [H 2 L] (1), 3,3 -(naphthalene-1,8-diylbis(azanylylidene))bis(ethan-1-yl-1-ylid-ene))bis(2-hydroxy-6-methyl 4H-pyran-4-one) have been prepared and characterized using physio-chemical and spectroscopic techniques.
