“…Nanozymes that posess peroxidase-like activity catalyze the oxidative reaction of various colorimetric substrates by transferring electron to H 2 O 2 . Since the discovery of the peroxidase-like activity of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles (NPs) in 2007 by Gao et al, different inorganic nanomaterials, including noble metals (e.g., Ag, Au, Pd, Pt), ,− transition-metal oxides and chalcogenides (e.g., FeS, CeO 2 , V 2 O 5 , CuO, MoS 2 ), − metal–organic frameworks, ,− and carbon nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes, carbon dots, graphene quantum dots) − have been discovered to possess intrinsic similar properties. These nanomaterials oxidize substrates such as o -phenylenediamine, 2,2-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid), and 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to the corresponding colored products in the presence of H 2 O 2 .…”
