Synthesis, Characterization, and In Vitro Cytotoxicity of Platinum(II) Complexes Bearing Chiral Tetradentate Salicylaldimine Ligands

Abstract: A series of platinum(II) complexes with chiral Schiff base ligands derived from various salicylaldehydes with (R,R′)- and (S,S′)-cyclohexanediamine were synthesized and characterized by ESI-MS, IR, and NMR. Obtained spectra with typical signals were in agreement with suggested molecular formulae of the complexes. Their photophysical properties were studied by UV-visible and emission spectroscopies. The UV-Vis showed the typical band with low energy at visible range 400–500 nm for MLCT, and this band can emit t… Show more

“…e construction of logistics park is not only the need of logistics development, but also the requirement of urban construction and development. At present, there are some problems in the planning and construction scheme of logistics park, such as chaotic planning steps and principles, vague understanding of the functions of logistics park, blind enclosure, and so on [21]. Studying the basic concept, characteristics, classification, and functions of logistics parks is the basis for in-depth research and analysis of many issues including the layout planning theory of logistics parks.…”

“…MTT assays were used to estimate in vitro cytotoxicity of chiral Schiff base Pt(II) complexes for KB and HepG-2 cell lines, similar to the published procedure. [19] Briefly, each experiment was carried out in triplicates for every concentration of the obtained complexes. KB and HepG-2 cells were cultivated in 96 well plates in standard condition for 24 h followed by treating with different concentrations of the Pt(II) complexes in DMSO for 24 h more.…”

“…ey predominantly show their antiproliferative, antimalarial, antifungal, antipyretic, and antidiabetic activities [19,20]. Besides, many symmetrical tetradentate Schiff bases and their transition metal complexes have been extensively studied on the preparation, spectral characterization, and biological activity [21][22][23]; recently, unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands and their complexes have been paid attention [24][25][26]. It should be realized that the coordinated ligands around central metal ions in natural systems are unsymmetrical.…”
